Ive been playing this game for about 10 hrs by now, and it is very hard to put down. For those of us who remember the golden age of SNES RPGs (Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy) this is a great game, with many hours of gameplay to offer. It has all the hallmarks of a classic RPG, and I recommend it heartily.

Vay is a great game for anyone who grew up with classic titles and systems like Sega, Sega CD (for which this wa originally on) and Nintendo. Controls and set up are easy. The downside: They didnt use the old voices or all the cut scenes. The bonuses arent anything good considering it shows you 3 cut scenes with no sound, 2 images (which mean nothing) and unfinished areas. Otherwise awesome remake/re-edit. 4/5 because of all the downside.. Please continue to redo the Sega CD titles because there are SO many good games on that system and I continue to ask Sony to redo the classics as well.

Seriously. Vay is one of the best RPGs on the iPhone but... Am I the only person who wants a port of Lunar The Silver Star on the IPhone? If you agree please comment.

Lasts for a long time, and good story/ gameplay.

The controls are brutal. A virtual pad would up this games rating immensely. In its current form its beyond frustrating.

I died and when i try to reloade my last saved the game crash and i only died again and again each time i try to play its annoying

Save ur money. The controls are some poor that it often takes numerous attempts to go through doors. Unlike most games, that have single button to interact and search, this game has a one menu button for all game actions and functions. Talking, searching and picking up items seems like a chore rather than fun and easy. Graphics look old school and game might be fun if I could stand it more then 30 seconds. New controls are a must.

Stable and Doesnt Crash! Its such a great storyline too and the cut scenes are vivid. Highly recommend, its long and a challenge to finish.

I knew when I was playing that the game felt very easy, and that the difficulty was probably adjusted from the Sega CD version...but its only as I go to write the review now that I see that there were difficulty options available. Theyre hidden away in the "Settings" section/app of your iPhone. I could have been playing on "Hard"! Arghh! Other than that, a pure JRPG experience that was very welcome on the iPhone. The walking controls are finicky but you just have to be persistent. BTW, they also adjusted some other things: the partys battle graphics are anime style (though you can apparently choose to have the original ones), and the dialogue has been re-translated, sometimes with jokes current to 2008. It might tick off a purist, but overall, I enjoyed it.

This is a great 90s RPG, Classic exploration and turn based fights. I wish there were more of these on iOS, good JRPGs from the golden age of the SNES and Genesis/Saturn era. The ONLY reason I wont give it 5 stars is because the music is very repetitive and the game is a little on the easy side (side note: the original version on the Sega CD was BRUTAL.)

If Pottle uses flame to kill off a mob, the game will crash (only if it is the last strike that actually kills the group). Using iPhone 4S.

Same as above, if I were to use flame as the eliminating kill on iPhone 4gs, the game crashes.

Controls are usable, just tricky. The main issue is the crashing whenever I try to kill off a mob with magic. I mean I can save every 2 minutes but its too unplayable at this rate (unless you dont mind having 4 melee characters)

got stuck on the first boss…ended up having to delete and reinstall on my iPhone 4, because every time i would try to load my save the app would crash. PLEASE FIX!

Vay is a very good game, but unstable after the recent update, crashing at varying times for no reason, just playing, then gone. Please put out a revision soon as a very good game is ow unplayable.
