Wicked Awesome Game!

Ive been a hardcore RPG gamer for the longest time. Vay for iPhone is simply the most amazing and engrossing game Ive ever bought.. Absolutely satisfied! I would buy this game over and over again. It brought me back to my Dragon Warrior days on the NES! Now theres a game id like to see on the iPhone!

awesome

Perhaps the best RPG you can find for a cellphone. Easy play, entertaining and just awesome.

Best RPG

Best RPG for the iPhone/iPod so far. Im not too far into it yet, but it plays well like an old RPG. It needs a few improvements. You cant see the health of the mobs youre fighting, and I think it should display your HP/MP in combat the same way it does on the side menu. i.e 150/150 Other than that no other complaints.

Great oldschool rpg!!!!

Very impressive!! Looks good,plays good

Great oldschool gaming

An excellent remake. Its quite olschool, and Final fantasy fans can get their fix here.

Best Game On OS

After surfing the app store since the iPhones release in Canada , I must review this game. Im a huge dog fan. And this game is absolutely amazing. The story, the graphics, the controls, absolutely everything in this game if perfect. Only flaw is not being able to check if your weapons r as powerful as the weapon u wanna buy. Def keep up the good work. Had this game 4 like 3 months and I still aint finished it. Def buy this if u like long games

Just WOW!

Amazing game!! Add more stuff please and maybe more characters/spells weapons/enemies or even a multiplayer. An arena with endless waves would be cool with a store at the end of each wave, customizable characters and armor or weapons or spells. Another story as a sequal would be amazing and Id gladly pay $5-10 if you can add some of this stuff!!! :)

Yay for vay!

Best game ever! Its just as great as final fantasy crisis core for the psp! Im just stuck on the part where the people in the village past the cave say go away your not welcome here!EVERY ON must BuY this game!

Meh

The other reviews are a little misleading( comparing it to crisis core?) but it is entertaining. I would say its not quite worth the price its at but for an itouch/phone rpg its ok.

Best rpg

Almost as good as Final Fantasy!! I would pay 20 bucks for this. I got it today and already played 3hours.

not too shabby

i dont really have anything negative to say about this game. The navigation contrary to what other reviews say are easy to use and the over all gameplay is very entertaining. Id compare it to final fantasy mystic quest from the super nintendo system

Good game changed my review

At first I didnt enjoy this game much. The controls at first were tricky and it was taking me 30 secs just to get through some doors. After playing and beating It I got used to the controls mid game. The character cut scenes were lame deffiently with the voice overs where half the time their lips move and the other half they dont. While playing there is a variety of characters you get which are either physical, support magic, and attack magic. All together it is around 5ish hours of play a good addition to a I-phone/I-touch if you like these classic rpg style games. So if you have played old FF games or other similar games, and you are looking for a game which is similar you will like playing this game. Pros -Long lasting game considering it is just for I-phone/I-touch. -Decent story line -Different characters through out the game -The battle system was easy to use at the end but not perfect (in cons) -Another review said how it was lame they used modern day jokes because it took away the "feel" of a classic RPG. But in my opinion it allowed for a bridge between old and new, and it would allow a younger player to be able to enjoy the game more. LOL should start on the cons... Cons -Cutscenes could have been polished so people are not laughing how lame they are deffiently the first one. -The battle system was good but did not seem finished. It would have been better if they allowed the user to be able to see what skills and items do mid battle, though not entirely needed it would have made the system seem finished. -Linear path through out the game all the way to the end with no side missions or extra choices. -Lack of saves at some areas seemed pointless and the save function should of remained functional through out the game (hint at the end there is a room that has around 30 doors go up and its the 3rd door going right I was there for an hour figuring that out without a save function so I couldnt try later. -Monster encounter rate was TOO high and at times I was fighting every step. -And umm... That is all I can think of, there is some more that you can figure out. Nonetheless it is a fun game and you should enjoys it sorry about the long review LOL, was a little bored.

vay!!

i love rpg its and awsome game but it would be better if you could see your enemys health one problem at the end (i think) i cant find my way in the "sky fortress" the part with all the houses please help

Incredibly faithful classic RPG with amazing graphics

Classic, efficient, and visually beautiful turn based rpg that radically outdelivers anything else on the iPhone/iPod right now. No other game comes close to Vay in terms of it being visually beautiful, clean and intelligible interface, rock solid performance, compelling story. It feels like a professionally developed game as opposed to someone trying to recreate an SNES era rpg. Well done SoMoGa, PLEASE bring out additional games or more adventures in this saga, this is my favourite iPhone/iPod game for sure.

Final fantasy fan this is for you

As a final fantasy fan, I really enjoy this game. This is the game that I played the most on my iPod touch. I recommand it to every old school rpg fan.

THE BEST RPG

The best rpg for iphone (i have them all). Controls amazing story great. FF3 ish. Suggestions: make part 2 sooner!

Where is hidden entrance

Hi, what a exrent game, but I need help. Where is hidden entrance, behind one of the gravestones on the east end. Thank you.

Not bad

Good time waster. The Hardcore mode is rather challenging but because I felt like leveling up, I switched to easy. For skilled gamers, easy provides zero challenge. For beginners, it is also very easy. Storyline is linear. There is no sidequests of any kind. Controls are frustrating when moving in tight areas, otherwise fine. Cutscenes are rather LQ. It has the JRPG feel to it, but not the appeal, although it will be a while before something of near console quality can be put out.

Amazing

One of the most boring game on the iphone. Horrible movement and interface. Play Zenonia instead ........ -------------------------------------------------- Ive given this game a chance and im starting to like it

Good game but lousy controls

Im giving this game one star but let me explain. Overall the game is an excellent retro style rpg. Graphics, sound and style are all done well. To the reviewer who complained that characters mouths dont sync with voice overs. Its part of the style of the genre and I dont think most people will mind. The one star rating is for the controls. Pointing to move seems like a natural idea for the iPhone but its to tedious. Either Im concentrating to click a specific spot or Im continuously clicking to move thus watching my thumb instead of the game. Takes a lot of fun from the game. Please consider revising the control method. I recommend a virtual joypad. Something like another RPG Arvale: Journey of Illusions. Or better, a more dynamic control like Heroes of Sparta. Thanks
